These practices from the ancient history are still commonly being observed up to the present.

Although parenting styles between mothers and fathers have been compared through time, one parent could not accomplish his/her responsibility without the other. What matters is the joint effort of both father and mother in bringing up a child (Dilip). A mother could not become as masculine as the father, but the father as well could not be as nurturing as the mother. Although they are not equal as to the styles they impose in parenting, they need each other to balance the parenting responsibilities.
